Kelly Doran – Chief Manager
Kelly Doran is the principal of Doran Companies. Kelly has been involved in the real estate development business for over twenty years, after an earlier career in commercial banking. In the past twenty years Kelly has developed, constructed, leased and managed many millions of square feet of shopping centers, office space and industrial property. Currently, Kelly owns in whole or part several million square feet of commercial space. Kelly has won many awards for projects he has developed and built from organizations such as the International Council of Shopping Centers (“ICSC”) , the Minnesota Shopping Center Association (“MSCA”), The Minnesota Business Journal, the National Association of Office and Industrial Parks (“NAIOP”) and others. Kelly is a graduate of the University of Minnesota and also holds a MBA from the Carlson School of Business. Kelly is an active member of ICSC, NAIOP and MSCA. He has participated in many positions in the MSCA including committee chairperson, board member and president. Kelly lives in Eden Prairie with his wife Maria and their four children.

Jim LaValle – Vice President of Development
As Vice President of Development, Jim brings seventeen years experience in the development and commercial general contracting business. In addition, he has valuable experience working in the mortgage banking industry. He has successfully participated in completing millions of square feet of retail, office, office showroom/office warehouse and industrial commercial properties. Jim has a keen eye for development opportunity, and a reputation for the ability to apply the requirements and goals of his clients to achieve results beyond expectation. He is an active member in the St Paul Chamber of Commerce, Minnesota Shopping Center Association, National Association of Office and Industrial Parks and has coached youth hockey, baseball and soccer. A graduate of St Johns University in Collegeville, Minnesota, Jim grew up in Burnsville and currently resides in St. Paul with his wife Diana, son Aaron and daughter Kylie.

Scott Anderson – Development Director
Scott Anderson joined the Doran Companies in April of 2007 as a Director of Development. He has experience in commercial mortgage banking as well as corporate real estate and has a broad knowledge of retail, office, industrial and multi-family property types. Scott graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a degree in Real Estate Studies. Scott is committee member in the Next Generation of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), active member of the Minnesota Shopping Center Association (MSCA) and the National Association of Office and Industrial Properties (NAIOP).

Kathy Sullivan - Director of Administration
Kathy Sullivan holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Office Management, from St. Cloud State University. She also has an Associate Degree from Inver Hills Community College in paralegal science. In her role at Doran Companies, Kathy serves as the Executive Assistant to the President and is responsible for coordination of the daily administrative functions. Before joining Doran Companies, she worked as an Executive Assistant at GMAC ResCap where she supported the Executive Vice President of Business Lending, which included their wholesale, correspondent and institutional channels, as well as their warehouse lending business. She also worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis as a Paralegal/Administrative Assistant in their legal department responsible for contract and litigation administration, and records management.
