William Pew – President
With over 30 years of commercial construction and general contracting experience, Bill Pew, is held in high regard by his peers in the commercial construction Industry. The respect shown Bill is a result of many years of hard work to hone his skills as a tradesman and a manager. During his 30 years in the business Bill has been a carpenter, an owner’s rep, a Sr. Project Manager, a VP of Construction and finally partner in Doran construction. Bill works toward one clear goal: to exceed the expectations of his client. His experience includes retail, Class A office, mixed use, hospitality, restaurant, condominium, office/warehouse and industrial construction projects. Bill is client-centered and pays meticulous attention to the details. This focus assures clients that Doran Construction will deliver quality projects on time and on budget. Kelly Doran – Chief Financial Officer
Kelly Doran is the principal of Doran Companies. Kelly has been involved in the real estate development business for over twenty years, after an earlier career in commercial banking. In the past twenty years Kelly has developed, constructed, leased and managed many millions of square feet of shopping centers, office space and industrial property. Currently, Kelly owns in whole or part several million square feet of commercial space. Kelly has won many awards for projects he has developed and built from organizations such as the International Council of Shopping Centers (“ICSC”) , the Minnesota Shopping Center Association (“MSCA”), The Minnesota Business Journal, the National Association of Office and Industrial Parks (“NAIOP”) and others. Kelly is a graduate of the University of Minnesota and also holds a MBA from the Carlson School of Business. Kelly is an active member of ICSC, NAIOP and MSCA. He has participated in many positions in the MSCA including committee chairperson, board member and president. Kelly lives in Eden Prairie with his wife Maria and their four children.

Business Development
Thomas Moran - Business Development
With over 25 years of experience, Tom is the consummate business development manager in the area of Commercial Construction and Business Development. A Minnesota native, Mr. Moran was raised in Duluth and attended the University of Minnesota-Duluth as an undergraduate; he now resides in Burnsville, Minnesota. He is an active member of the National Association of Industrial & Office Properties (NAIOP), the Minnesota Shopping Center Association & International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and is an appointed member of the St. Paul Business Review Council. During his tenure as business development manager, his efforts have resulted in hundreds of millions of dollars in new construction business.

Accounting
Ryan Johnson - Senior Director of Accounting
Ryan is the Senior Director of Accounting for Doran Companies. A Minnesota native, Ryan was raised in Detroit Lakes and received his undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota – Minneapolis. Ryan has seven years of accounting experience in both subcontractor and general contractor capacities and he recently earned his MBA from the Minnesota School of Business. His construction background brings a wide spectrum of experience in many different markets. Ryan feels strongly about continually exceeding client, subcontractor and vendor expectations which are important to delivering an excellent product.

Project Managers
Ken Braun - Director of Operations
Ken started his career in construction in 1978 working for a development firm in the general construction division as a project manager. His projects included multi-family housing, condominiums, retail centers, and involvement in large scale mixed-use developments. Ken also has significant experience in the construction management arena, where he worked on Public schools, libraries, city halls as well as private CM projects such as office/warehouse, senior housing, churches, recording/production facilities and casino projects.
His general contracting experience includes; office, manufacturing, retail, restaurant, community centers, and multi-housing. Ken also has a strong emphasis on higher education projects; performing arts facilities, classroom buildings, student centers, dorm buildings, and administration offices. He has held positions from head of a construction division, to vice president and has gained a wide range of project type and project delivery experience. He has completed projects in both the public and private sectors. He has a strong commitment to maintaining client relationships and customer service.
Ken, who has lived in Twin City area his entire life, has a comfortable style, positive attitude and prides himself in his responsiveness to client goals—all which result in successful experiences for project teams.

Matthew Parten - Project Manager
Matthew is a native to Minnesota, graduating from SDSU with a Bachelors of Science in Construction Management. Matthew’s experience with two different National Top 100 General Contractors gave him the opportunity to work in many construction industry fields including the following: offices, condominiums, municipal maintenance, education, heavy highway, healthcare, and tenant build-out. He has also been involved in many construction oriented associations such as: Association of General Contractors (AGC), Home Builders Association (HBA), Young Contractors Forum (YCF), and Young Professionals Group (YPC).
